Sniffer Boom Dogs

I heard on the radio on my way back from work that dogs were now being trained to trace lost or left behind items in air planes. If a passenger dropped their cell phone or personal item in the plane, the sniffer dog would identify the item as ‘lost’ , and then find the owner of the item while he/she is still in customs.

Amazing.

Except if you don’t like dogs. How about if dogs are an affront to you religion. Like with Muslims. Satan dwells in ears of dogs, and along with pigs are offensive.

Miniature horses are used for ‘guide dogs’ for blind Muslims for this reason. Very cute. 

Horses, whatever size, make a large mess when they urinate and stool. And they cannot be house trained like dogs. So these horses are fitted with bags under their tails to catch the droppings and urine. But Muslim women, weather blind or not blind, have to be chaperoned by a male relative when they go out of the house. Which makes the horse unnecessary, I would say.

But what an insult if a sniffer dog identifies a lost parcel on a plane and returns it to it’s Muslim owner in the airport terminal – and it goes BOOM!
